Soil Mates is a community based app designed to connect people within the greater New Orleans region who want to reduce food waste with others who want to utilize food waste. On Soil Mates you can seek people within your community who are composting and willing to accept your food scraps or people who have food scraps and are looking for somewhere to take them. The overall goal is to reduce food waste miles and make composting easy for everyone!
